What is a "magnalog" ?
A magnalog displays an animated cursor following the recorded track in a speed proportional to the speed of the recording GPS device.
When the cursor reaches a certain location, images, texts or links specified by the author appear synchronously to the moving track mark.
A green line moving from left to right in a graph displayed next to the map marks the original time and the author's elevation, speed or even heart rate.
Visitors can set the cursor position and the time displayed by clicking into the graph, similar to a timeline.
Authors can place click-buttons in the text and let the viewer take over control over the storyflow.
All this together results in what is called a ›magnalog, a "magnificent log".
